Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a noted businessman and philanthropist from Zambia, was recently conferred with the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award category. He received the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award for his contributions towards the banking sector and redefining it. The Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony was a part of the Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership conference. This roundtable conference was held online due to the current coronavirus pandemic wherein speakers, staff and participants participated in the event from their respective locations. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was also invited in this event as a honorary speaker.
The Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards holds special significance, not only due to the ‘Forbes’ brand name associated with it but also due to the selection process of these recipients.
