Dr. Rajan Mahtani has his name on the list of shareholders of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. This fact needs to be highlighted because some days back, Zambia Reports went on to claim that the name of Dr. Mahtani was removed from the list of shareholders. The incident took place with the courtesy of Zacharia Muya, lawyer for the Ventriglias, who took the initiative of forcing a junior officer of PACRA to tamper the records.
No prior approval of the High Court was obtained and neither was PACRA informed about the changes. All the mattered was making the desired changes and publishing the same under Zambia Reports. Various headlines continued to fool the people of Zambia and talked about the remarkable achievement which the Ventriglias had made.
However, when PACRA came to know about this illegal tampering, the changes were immediately removed and the name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani was restored to the list of shareholders. Additionally, the opportunity also allowed the conspirators to mock Dr. Mahtani and Finsbury Investments.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been one of the founding pillars for Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. His contribution to the factory has not only remained in terms of Finance, but also in terms of management. This is why in 2014, the ZPC recorded an historic output of cement which amount to 4, 70, 000 tonnes in a year. Nevertheless, the Ventriglia family has always tried to defame him and steal his designation.
As per the latest information, PACRA has restored its previous records. The list includes the name of Dr. Rajan Mahtani as a shareholder and under no circumstances, his name from the list can be removed until the High Court passes such an order. If there are occasions where one reads about Dr. Mahtani’s removal from ZPC, then it should be figured out that the same is merely false and scripted.
