Sometimes Zambia can let you hear stories that are beyond one’s imagination. With every passing day, more and more people are finding it difficult to accept the fact that the Government has ignored the misery that the workers of Portland Cement Zambia have faced in the past one and half years. Moreover, Zambia Reports is busy bragging about its own imaginative stories where Dr. Rajan Mahtani has either been caught bribing, escaping legal consequences or spreading corruption. Above all, the combination of Zambia Reports and Dr. Rajan Mahtani will obviously result in development of a fake story published with a view to gain immediate attention from the people of Zambia.
Portland Cement Zambia has been suffering the trauma of oppression and mismanagement from almost 18 months, yet not a single word has been spoken regarding it. Why? Because the Zambia Reports’ duty is to defame Dr. Rajan Mahtani and not work on stories where its masters are to be blamed. Forget about development and growth, the factory has already stopped its production in December 2015 and since then, all the assets of the factory such as the premise and trucks are being channelized to other companies whose object is to give control to give absolute control the Ventriglias.
Given the poor condition of the factory, it has remained a question whether the people of Zambia would ever be able to see the factory in operation? The workers who used to work earlier are now unemployed because the new management under the Ventriglia family think that they do not have sufficient work for them. On the other hand, the cash box has been reduced to an empty box and offshore transfers have become a common activity.
Witnessing this carnage, we can definitely say that the Ventriglias are good players of corrupt politics. On one hand, they are looting the Portland Cement Zambia and on the other hand, they are keeping the focus on Dr. Rajan Mahtani through the defamation campaign.
